The side of a house with a window can be seen behind the group, along with flowers below the window. Electric poles and wires are in the background. Postmark: Sept 19 1917; mailed from Woodville Wis; green 1c Franklin stamp. Message: Addressed to Thorvald E. Thoreson, Woodville, Wisconsin R.#. My Dear Boy: -- How are you? I am pretty lonesome for you. Look real good and see if you can find me on the other side of this card. Love and kisses from Auntie." Note: Thorvald was 4 at this time.
