The name used for the church at North Rush River was also North Prairie Church. This brick building was built in 1898. Text printed on recto: E. C. Kropp, Milwaukee. Postmark was obliterated when postcard was removed from a scrapbook, but the green 1¢ Franklin "Gingerbread" stamp remains, along with the first name -- Clara -- of the person it was sent to. Message on recto: "This is a picture of our new church in the country. Yours, Isabelle."
