The building has a belfry, with bell, and a dormer window on one side. Postmarked May 14 [190]8; mailed from Bay City Wisconsin; green 1¢ Washington stamp. Message: Addressed to Clyde Collett, Rock Elm, Wisconsin [which was crossed out and replaced with Elmwood]. "Dear Clyde :-- Just received word about the contest. "Congratulations." Hope you do well at Ellsworth. May try and go up. Would love to have heard the contest, for know you all did well. Wishing you success at Ellsworth. I remain sincerely, A.R.S."
