Real-photo postcard with image of the St. John Catholic Church in Glenwood City, Wisconsin. The brick church has a large, attached bell towner, stained glass windows, and large front steps. Bare deciduous trees can be seen, mostly to the rear of the building. Text printed on verso: "The Co-Mo Company, Post Cards, Minneapolis" and "Co-Mo Quality" used as the divider. Date from message: Dec 13, [19]19; mailed from Glenwood City Wis; green 1¢ Washington stamp. Message: Addressed to Mr. & Mrs. H.D. Bliefernicht, De Forest, Wisconsin Transcription (German): "Dec. 13-19. Lieben Eltern, Ihr s[c]hickt aber immer zu sachen[.] heute haben wir s[c]hon wieder na gros[s]e box gekriegt. Meinen allenbesten Dank für alles[.] werde bald einen Brief schreiben. Wir sind busy. Grüsse von Hullie." Translation (English): "Dec. 13-19. Dear Parents, You are always sending us things. Today we received a big box. My sincere thanks for everything. I will write you a letter soon. We are busy. Greetings from Hullie."
