Date from postmark: Aug 31, 1909; mailed from Spring Valley Wisconsin; green 1¢ "Gingerbread" Franklin stamp. Message: Addressed to Miss Eulalia Weisand, River Falls, Wisconsin "Dearest Friend:- I suppose you are wondering why I don't write but you see I am "so slow." The folks came after me that day, we got home about 6:30. How is your Manna and Pappa. Give them my best regards. Hope to hear from you soon. I remain your Dearest Friend Stasia."
