Real-photo postcard with image of 17 children and their teacher in front of a rural school in the Town of Union, Pierce County, Wisconsin. The school was located in the Elmwood area. The brick school has a single front door with transom, a bell on top of the roof, and two windows showing; there is some snow on the ground. Date of "1912?" handwritten on verso. Printed on Azo paper; bottom two triangles pointing down (used 1918-1930). Names handwritten on verso: 1. Lucy Schladweiller 2. Margaret Richarson 3. Charlotte Ganslucker 4. Ada Collett 5.
