Date from postmark: Jul 3 1942; mailed from Luck, Wisconsin; postage stamp has been removed. Message: Addressed to Miss Mae Jean Peterson, 1240 Ashland Ave, St. Paul, Minn. "Mae, I got your letter this morning. I didn't expect it so long but I enjoyed reading it. Hope you are enjoying the heat. It has been getting hot. I went swimming the other day. Write soon. Margie."
