A banner across the street in the far distance says "Base Ball, Ellsworth vs. [unreadable]." Numerous electric poles and lines are visible, as are numerous deciduous trees. The steet is dirt (unpaved). Postmark: Jun 14, [year is missing]; mailed from "Hudson & Ellsworth R.P.O." Message: Addressed to Miss Nellie W. Holmer, 310 Wilson St., Hamilton, Ont., Can. "Dear Cousin, Received your card. Hope this will reach you well, as it leaves us all at present. Hope you did not take fright at my photos will send you a larger one in the near futur[e]. Was wondering why you did not ans[wer] my letter so ans[wer] soon. I injoy [sic] your litters [sic] so much. By , ans[wer] to cousin Henry." Hanwritten in ink on recto: "You cannot see the whol[e] street. HFH."
