Real-photo postcard showing aerial view of Glenwood City, Wisconsin. Date from message: Aug 21, 1914. Printed on Azo paper with all four triangles pointing up (used 1904-1918). Message: "Glenwood City, Aug. 21, 1914, Dear Mrs. Taggart: - Recd your letter this morning. Must ans. it immediately or I may keep you waiting a long time as I'm so slow about writing. Am ashamed to think I haven't written to your mother since I left. Have had company ever since I got home so really haven't had any time for writing. Thanks very much for the money. Hope you'll be satisfied with the stove. Regards to you all & your mother. Sincerely your friend, Clara Gavic. [At the top:] The church I placed a little cross on is the one I attend [the Norwegian Lutheran Church, to the far left]. Will send you some more views of this little city of ours some other time."
