Real-photo postcard with image of the German Lutheran church building in Glenwood City, Wisconsin. The building has a small round window above the main door, lancet windows elsewhere, a steeple in the front, and a tall chimney in the rear. Message: Addressed to Mr. and Mrs. H.D. Bliefernicht, DeForest, Wisconsin; mailed from Glenwood C[ity, Wis]; green 1¢ Washington stamp.. Transcription (German): "Liebe Eltern, Heute nach mittag war ich nach die Kirche, deshalb habe ich nicht geschrieben. Die Kirche auf die andere Seite is[t] die lutherische Kirche. Wir sind noch alle gesund und sehr fleißig. Viele arbeit. Viele Grüße an alle. Hullie. Schreibe bald mah Ja?" Translation (English): "Dear Parents. This afternoon I was at church, that's why I haven't written. The church on the other side is the Lutheran church. We are all healthy and working hard. There's a lot of work. Greetings to everyone. Hullie. Write soon, ok?"
