Real-photo postcard with image of the train station in Deer Park, St. Croix County, Wisconsin. A steam locomotive is on the tracks. Date based on postmark (Aug 1908) and message (8/17/08); mailed from Deer Park Wisconsin; green 1¢ "Gingerbread" Franklin stamp. Handwritten in ball point ink on recto: "Grandma Evenson lived here." Message: Addressed to Evenson's, Underwood, Minn. "Arrived here yesterday a.m., found the folks all well. [---] is expected back here to-morrow, think I will wait til he appears, so you need not expect me home before F[riday?]. have decided to go with [---] to the Berry-woods to [-----], weather is favorable. [Lov]e to all, Bob."
