Real-photo postcard showing the interior of a cottage at Camp Northland Resort on Clam Lake--sometimes referred to as Big Clam Lake--in the Town of Meenon, just east of Siren, in Burnett County, Wisconsin. The knotty pine-paneled interior includes a picnic-style table, the end of a bed, a view into the bathroom showing a shower, an electric heater, a small kitchen stove, and the door to the outside. Date from postmark: Jul 14, 1959; mailed from Siren, Wisconsin; 3¢ purple Liberty stamp. Message: Addressed to Mr. and Mrs. John Tekippe [?], Fort Atkinson, Iowa. "Hello Folks. This is the interior of cabin, its very pretty here, & perfect weather, cool at night so can sleep easy. We have already eaten 23 fish & are they good. Paul & Albert are out on the boat already & Joe is out on the dock. Sure are enjoying a quick trip vacation. So pretty & peaceful here. Love, Ann." Added at top: "Monday morning. Hello from all, Alb, Lucy - Paul, [Mayer?], Mary, Ellen, Ronald, Thomas, Joe & Ann."
