Postcard with image of the Congregational Church in River Falls, Wisconsin. The image is inside an embossed frame with white roses. Date from postmark: Sept 13, 1911; mailed from River Falls Wisconsin; green 1¢ Franklin stamp. Message: Addressed to Mrs. Budge, Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, R.R.5. "Dear Mrs. B. This town is quieter than the farm. The mail and our appetites are the only excitement. School is easy and I like it pretty well. How is Anson? As ever, Mary M." On the side of the postcard: "We have bushels to eat but do you know I think about that pumpkin pie - what I didn't get."
