Real-photo postcard with image of the hospital in Grantsburg, Burnett County, Wisconsin. A 1930s automobile is parked outside the three-story brick building. Postmark: Sep 7 [year missing], Grantsburg, green 1c Washington stamp (# 839, first issued in 1939). Message: Addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Nels Munkeby, 1438 Liberty, La Crosse, Wisconsin "Tue. eve. Dear Folks, We often think of you and the nice things that were said at the picnic. I'm sure we do don't [sic] deserve all that praise but it was nice to hear. We got here in fine shape, not a thing scratched, not a dish broke. It goes slow in getting things in place. I go with [--------] nite & help clean up. We think we'll like it here. Haven't had any callers yet but so many have come to the theater & welcomed us. Thanks for everything, from Sidney & Elise."
