Records consisting of chattel mortgages, financial records and a few meeting minutes. Chattel mortgages, 1886-1917 and 1930-1931, gives date of filing, mortgagor and mortgagee, amount and description of property and are arranged alphabetically by last name of mortgagor. Record book, 1913-1933, contains financial ledger information, circa 1913-1919, town board meeting minutes, circa 1921-1926, and a list of receipts and disbursements. Receipt and order register, 1920-1923, lists town workers and gives their names, jobs, and amount of payment. Treasurer's journal, 1923-1940, consists of cash transactions and orders, giving the name of recipient, sometimes reason for payment, and amount.
