This scrapbook, compiled by Miss. Davison spans her time as a student at the Wisconsin State Teachers College. Contents include mostly newspaper clippings from The Student Voice, featuring campus activities. Other items include Picture Postcards of the campus, event notices, programs, and invitations. Articles, itinerary, programs, and photos relating to Choir Tours. Other items include student activity cards, dance invitations, a letter from the Dean of Women, and a May Day USA program flyer, and programs of the First Methodist Church of River Falls.
Jeanninne Davison CarlsonThe Falcon Frontier Days Rodeo is an event that occurs every fall in September. The rodeo is a completely student run event that takes place on the rodeo grounds at the University of Wisconsin River Falls Lab Farm 1. The first rodeo was held on May 16-17 of 1964, and was (as it still is) a student run event. The events included in the rodeo performances focused on the standard rodeo events: saddle bronc riding, bull riding, bareback bronc riding, bulldogging and calf roping. Western pleasure classes, the stock horse class, and barrel racing and pole bending contests were also included.
The collection includes programs, flyers, and photographs.
