Scope and content

Thomas G. Kliszcz graduated from the River Falls State Teachers College in 1942. During his time on campus, he was active in the marching and concert band, Math Club, and Baseball team.
He went on to pursue a D.D.S. from Marquette University, completed in 1949, and began a dentistry practice in Northern Wisconsin. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1952. In 1977, he closed his dentistry practice and opened an authentic Polich Restaurant Kliszcz’s Karczma near Cable Wis.
In 1979, he was awarded the Distinguished Alumnus Award from the University of Wisconsin River Falls.

      This scrapbook was found in Mr. Kliszcz's restaurant Kliszcz'z Karczma in Cable, Wis., following his death and new ownership of the building. The Scrapbook was given to the Cable Namakagon Historical Museum, before being transferred to the UWRF Archives and Area Research Center on March 11, 2025.
