[1] School District Records (1868-1929) containing minutes of district meetings, listing of orders drawn on the treasurer, and teachers' contracts; [2] Treasurer's Records (1868-1953) with a record of receipts and disbursements, and balance statements; [3] Teachers Registers (1868-1901, 1907-1914, 1936-1939) indicating names of teachers and students, attendance record, remarks concerning the promotion and progress of students, and a register of visitors; [4] Librarian's Record (1885-1907) listing the names of students and the books which they charged out and in some cases, the books bought by the school district; [5] Annual Reports (1902-1944) giving summaries of financial data and in some cases, information about the student population; [6] School Censuses (1899, 1901, 1910-1944) listing the names of students registered, their age, grade, and in some cases, their parent's name; and [7] Teacher's Report to the Superintendent listing the same information as the school censuses. Note: Pleasant Hill School was originally called Nigger Hill School.
