Primarily chattel mortgage records kept by city, town, and village clerks which were collected by the register of deeds. The chattel mortgages include the names of mortgagor and mortgagee, amount of mortgage, and dates of filing, mortgage due, and release. Some volumes contain listings of conditional sales which may include dates of contracts and filing, names of seller and buyer, and a description of goods sold. There are two volumes of chattel mortgage records, 1914-1933, which contain copies of some of the towns' chattel mortgage records as well as mortgages filed only with the register of deeds.

Materials concern camp life, the Atlanta, Savannah, and Carolina campaigns, including the battles of Kennesaw Mountain, Ezra Church, and Jonesboro, and the capture of Bentonville, N.C. Also present are the texts of two songs by L. Grennan, "The veterans are coming," and "The great Ulysses." Not available on the microfilm are transcripts of a May 2, 1864, letter and brief diary entries, 1863-1865, and a photograph of Alonzo Miller.

These records are from the Pigeon Lake Field Station, operated by the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. The collection contains administrative records from 1959 through 1997. Budget reports, building projects, correspondence, food service, and instructor information are included in this collection. Additionally, there are written histories of Pigeon Lake, summer class brochures, photographs, slides, programming brochures, and policy information.
Also included in the collection are early records from Clam Lake Field Station, which mainly encompass the years 1960 through 1975.
This collection is organized into six different sub-series: Academic, Administrative, Financial, Personnel, Planning, and Promotional.
The academic records include course schedules, programs for courses, and undergrad proposals. The administrative record series documents activities related to the organization of courses and research at the research stations, including correspondence, annual reports, and policy renewals. The financial records detail the funding of the field research stations, including budgets, leases, and operational purchases. The personnel series includes staffing information on the various programs held at Pigeon Lake and Clam Lake; documents include staff appointments and rosters. The planning series included any documents pertinent to the infrastructure and feedback given by students about the programs held. Records include, but are not limited to, maps, blueprints, and student surveys. Promotional materials include brochures, programs, flyers, and posters.
Christian and Anna Junkman papers and photographs (undated, 1846-1918, 2021) include materials relating to Anna's parents and siblings, the extended Cope family, and well as Christian's father, William; Glen Junkman and family papers and photographs (1911-1992), also include papers of their daughter, Mary Lorenzen; Estella Clarke (nee Junkman) papers and photographs (1864-1945, 2021) also contain materials related to her husband, William, including the Clark, White, and Ingli families.
Sin títuloIn the fall of 2014, English 361: Theories of Composition students visited the UWRF University Archives and Area Research Center for a class assignment. The instructor, Conan Kmiecik, asked the students to write a letter to posterity that would be added to the UWRF Archives collections.
This collection contains 22 letters from students on index cards, there is also a letter from Conan Kmiecik explain the assignment and his hopes for the future.
