"7/20/41. Thank you for your nice letter and invitation. This lovely spot where I am vacationing turns out to be in Wisconsin, near the Minnesota line, so I won't be able to come to see you. It's a wonderful place which my friends in Chicago knew about -- delicious meals, beautiful country and everything for enjoyment. -- Love, Bea."
