Artificially collated collection of manuscripts materials donated by a number of individuals living in or otherwise associated with Burnett, Pierce, Polk, and St. Croix Counties. Includes both primary source materials, such as abstracts, warrantee deeds, correspondence, photographs, certificates, marriage records, etc., in addition to secondary sources, such as compiled genealogies and other records. Collection is no longer being maintained or added to as of January 2020.

Photographic postcards mainly related to the 4-county geographic area covered by the Area Research Center, that is, Burnett, Pierce, Polk, and St. Croix Counties but also include nearby regions, including some in Minnesota. This collection is particularly strong in areas of the region directly surrounding River Falls, Wisconsin. Also includes some photographs of the University of Wisconsin-River Falls campus, sports, and related miscellany.

Stat. required Justice Courts to file a record of convictions in the office of the clerk of circuit court.

Record of taxes assessed and paid on real estate and personal property. States names of owner, description of land, number of acres, assessed valuation, amount of each tax, total taxes, date paid, and by whom. Assessment rolls are present for various local units of government for scattered years.
