She describes her childhood on farms near Neckerson, Fontonelle, Pender, and Bancroft, Nebraska, neighbors, school experiences, medical matters, her maternal relatives in the Daiss family and paternal relatives in the Blome family, and the family of her husband, Bill Weitkamp.
