Real-photo postcard with image of the train depot at Dresser Junction, Polk County, Wisconsin. The image shows eleven men, four women, and one boy standing at the end of the railroad depot building. Train cars are to the left of the depot and stacks of logs to the right. The postcard is dirty, making the image appear darker. Postmark: Nov 8 191[-]; mailed from Dress[er Junction] W[is]; stamp has been removed. Printed on Azo paper with all four triangles pointing up (used 1904-1918). Message: Addressed to Mr. Hardwick Johnson, Marine Mills, Minn., R#2. "Hello kid, How are you. Say did you see me Sun. evening when I went ast you at Gust Anderson Crossing? I was firing then. Have been on 3 days, will be going on again in a few days. Your Bro Ed." Someone added "Arrow might be Ed H. Johnson."
