Al Boeck was the Director of Public Relations and instructor in Journalism at River Fall State Teachers College. Boeck received a master's degree in journalism from Indiana University. He taught communications and journalism, conducted the public relations program for the college, and served as an advisor to the Student Voice and the Meletean. Under his supervision, The Student Voice won a first-class rating in the associated collegiate press judging, and the Voice staff raised money to build the trophy case in North Hall.
