Reach for the Future committee

Reach for the future was a strategic plan started in 1994/1995 on the UW- River Falls Campus. It was used to assess all the programs on the UW-River Falls Campus and refocus on the mission of the university for its students. Every department was required to send in a report to show what they were doing and how. This was also a point where the budget and many jobs were reassessed as well. This program was primarily planned to go up until the year 2000 and then they reassessed again and made more plans and different decisions that the head leaders of the school thought would be best. Many faculty and staff were asked to look over every aspect of the campus to make sure that River Falls was achieving what it was planning to for its students.

The Prescott Journal was founded in 1861 by Lute A. Taylor after pausing publication of the River Falls Journal and relocating his newspaper business to Prescott, Wisconsin.
