Jon Warren Belisle was born and raised in River Falls, Wisconsin. As a child, he attended the Campus School in the mid-40's (K-6th grade) in North Hall on the River Falls State Teachers College Campus, and at the River Falls High School. Belisle also attended college at the Wisconsin State College - River Falls, graduating in 1962.
