Blanche Alice Reardon (1901-1957) and Nellyebelle Reardon (1908-1989) were born on a 20-acre family farm in Kinnickinnic Township in St. Croix County Wisconsin. The youngest of eight children, the girls moved with two siblings and their mother into the Town of River Falls by 1920, where Blanche completed teacher training at the State Normal School at River Falls (now University of Wisconsin- River Falls). The sisters followed a brother to Chicago and utilized their musical and performance training to start the Reardon Sisters act. They toured Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Michigan for a variety of audiences throughout the 1920's-early 1930s. Blanche Reardon married Charles Cannon, an intellectual property lawyer from Superior, Wisconsin in 1935 and the Reardon Sisters discontinued performances shortly thereafter. In the fall of 2014, English 361: Theories of Composition students visited the UWRF University Archives and Area Research Center for a class assignment. The instructor, Conan Kmiecik, asked the students to write a letter to posterity that would be added to the UWRF Archives collections.

This collection contains 22 letters from students on index cards, there is also a letter from Conan Kmiecik explain the assignment and his hopes for the future.

Papers of astronaut and former Wisconsin State University-River Falls student Daniel C. Brandenstein, containing biographical information, letters, portraits of Brandenstein and photographs taken during shuttle missions, newspaper clippings, and certificates concerning his various NASA space shuttle missions. The collection also includes some objects that he used in space, such as dehydrated food, a specially designed WSU-RF T-shirt, and a mission patch.

Index to county cemeteries located in Burnett, Pierce, Polk, and St. Croix Counties. The St. Croix Valley Genealogical Society (SCVGS) completed an extensive project in the 1980s to inventory tombstones in local cemeteries. Transcriptions were made from tombstones for most of the cemeteries in the counties of Pierce, Polk, and St. Croix by the SCVGS over the course of this project. Burnett County cemeteries were indexed by a number of volunteers.

Opera Hotel register (1887-1901, 1941) includes names, addresses (generally limited to city if any), date/time, rooms rented, and a notes field. Since many of the guests were in the entertainment industry, many entries include creatively devised advertisements for the performances or other additional information on the group and type of entertainment provided. A note, dated 1941, appears to have been added by a later owner of the register. According to the River Falls Journal, the register was in the possession of W. A. Freeman when the fire that burned the building formerly housing the Opera Hotel, burned in 1921.

The Registered Holstein herd was started in 1917 as part of the Saint Croix County Hospital and later was administered by the St. Croix County Health Center as a publicly owned herd under the name of St. Croixco Registered Holsteins.
