Date from postmark: Jul 4, 1927; mailed from Luck Wisconsin; with 1¢ green Washington stamp (A140). Message: Addressed to Mrs. G.O. Rognas, Decorah, Ia., 910 Maple Ave. So.; "Sat. afternoon, Dear folks: - I am at Ida's now. Has been terrible warm but cooler today. Had a heavy rain shower yesterday. Things were beginning to dry up. How is Selma? I will write more later. Alma." Mrs. G. O. Rognas was Inga M. Rognas (Mrs. Gullick Olsen Rognas), the mother of Ida Gustava and Alma Louise Rognas.
