Student Support Services (SSS), 2014-Present
The Student Support Services (SSS) at UW River-Falls is part of the TRIO program. This program offers educational outreach and enrichment opportunities to maximize academic success at the college level. Program participants receive access to one-on-one academic coaching, leadership and community service opportunities, career/graduate school advising, and opportunities to participate in social/cultural activities, financial literacy, and assistance with accessing campus services.

Thomas G. Kliszcz graduated from the River Falls State Teachers College in 1942. During his time on campus, he was active in the marching and concert band, Math Club, and Baseball team.
He went on to pursue a D.D.S. from Marquette University, completed in 1949, and began a dentistry practice in Northern Wisconsin. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1952. In 1977, he closed his dentistry practice and opened an authentic Polich Restaurant Kliszcz’s Karczma near Cable Wis.
In 1979, he was awarded the Distinguished Alumnus Award from the University of Wisconsin River Falls.

Photographs, negatives, and slides, were primarily taken by Photography Services, yearbook staff, student newspaper, and a variety of other sources. The images, most in black and white, document the administration, student and faculty activities, departments, organizations, student life, athletics, buildings, construction, campus events and visitors, and aerial views of campus.

The Student Voice, 1916-Present
The Student Voice is a student-run newspaper at the University of Wisconsin River Falls. Beginning in 1916, as a weekly publication, was used to inform the campus community of events, and happening around campus. The publication includes local business advertisements and articles on local and national news.
